MYDOSONE OINTMENT is used to treat inflammation of the eye, ear, or nose when there may also be a risk of bacterial infection. It is important to use this medicine to prevent any damage to the delicate tissues of your eyes, ear, or nose and to prevent any infection from developing.
MYDOSONE OINTMENT can cause Bitter/metallic taste in your mouth, nausea, stomach upset, diarrhea, or dizziness may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
When not to use: Contraindicated in patients with a previous history of hypersensitivity to tinidazole or other nitroimidazole derivatives.
