Acort Cream is widely used as an effective topical agent for dermatophyte, yeast and other fungal infections (intertrigo, athlete’s foot, ringworm, pityriasis versicolor, fungal nappy rash)
When not to use: It is contraindiacted in patients with known hypersensitivity to the drug.

Drugs to avoid:
Rifampicin, phenytoin, warfarin, ciclosporin, tacrolimus, midazolam, triazolam, cisapride and terfenadine
During treatment with this drug to avoid renewed infection, personal linen (facecloth, towels, underwears if possible of cotton) should be changed daily and boiled.

Do not apply this more often than prescribed. Your condition will not clear faster, but side effects may be increased.
